Our Mission

Kingdom Financial Academy (KFA) is a faith-based, nonprofit initiative founded in Miami, Florida to solve America’s crisis of financial illiteracy by teaching the fundamentals of healthy personal finance and responsible money management.

Our powerful and engaging financial curriculum, delivered through both online and in-person classes, incorporates video, images and other interactive content to connect with every type of learner as we help them build a foundation for personal and generational wealth. As a nonprofit community outreach program, we also help meet the basic needs of vulnerable and underserved people while empowering them to get a hold of their finances through budgeting, saving, and investing wisely. Our ultimate mission is to create an empowerment movement made up of people who want to carry each other’s burdens and fulfill the law of Christ to steward the gifts of the Lord wisely, prudently, and in a spirit of love.

Our Vision

Our vision is for every American to achieve financial stability, regardless of their current situation. By utilizing the educational backing of our financial capability curriculum and our home buying education program, we are able to impact entire communities. Our vision is to transform neighborhoods one at a time through empowerment, counseling, and education.

Who Kingdom Financial Academy Serves

Kingdom Financial Academy serves the under-privileged communities that are most affected by a lack of proper financial management skills. We strive to provide a curriculum that will educate, build the necessary skills, and provide practical application of these newly formed skills in their daily lives. If each one can teach one, then the world will be a better place.

A Lifestyle Of Service

What started out as a passion project, has now become our mission. What we once dubbed “Service Saturdays” has turned into a full-time occurance – And we couldn’t be happier about it!

Camillus House

Have you ever wondered what happens to the youth in foster care when they turn 18? In many cases, they end up in a local homeless shelter or left to fend for themselves on the street. Because of this, we started a campaign to educate those aged-out foster care youth on financial capability, helping them become more aware of their attitudes and habits when it comes to money management.

We were privileged to bring this program to the Camillus House of Miami, where we worked in a group setting to help these young adults grasp the concepts of managing their money and “adulting” in the real world, when you have no one else to fall back on.

HUD Homebuyer Workshops

Where “Service Saturdays” began! Because we believe that everyone should become a homeowner when they’re ready, we have volunteered for years to help lead a series of Homebuyer Workshops that take place on Saturdays.

We teach on topics like credit, financial capability, and help counsel those who are interested in buying a home, but aren’t quite home-ready. Our participation in the HUD-sanctioned Hopeless2Homeowner program has been instrumental in helping HUNDREDS of local South Floridians become homeowners and leave renting behind.

Our program walks participants through each step of the process to becoming home-ready, educates them on the process, and finally provides counsel to those who need a little extra attention in building the foundation for responsible and beneficial homeownership.

Volunteering In Kenya, Africa

2020 showed us just how unprepared the world is for an economic downturn or emergency situation, not just Americans. So we decided to do something about it. Kingdom Financial Academy has now committed to volunteering to lead a financial capability curriculum in schools in Kenya, Africa.

We will be partnering with Rahab Wanderi of Golden Business Bridge in Nairobi to develop the financial capabilities of the students participating in their program. This will ensure that future generations grow to become good stewards of their finances, their property, and their futures.

Local Community Outreach

There’s a saying that Daniel Shalach was taught that impacted his whole world…

Service is the rent that we pay for taking up space on this planet.

Daniel took that to heart and each of us at Kingdom Financial Academy have grown to adopt this saying as our own, also! Local community outreach isn’t a “once a year” thing, it’s not a “when we can” thing, it’s an ALL THE TIME thing.

From volunteering to preach on Sundays for the Miami Rescue Mission, to feeding the homeless regularly, Kingdom Financial Academy has a leader whose heart is consumed by being a servant to the people. Bridging the gap for those in need is what we do in so many ways.
